Thomas R. Britten is a pastor and Christian fiction author whose work explores the tension between faith and a rapidly secularising world. He holds a BA (Hons) and MA in Philosophy, a background that deeply informs his thoughtful approach to themes such as truth, conviction, and the battle between light and deception. Before entering full-time ministry, Thomas spent ten years teaching English in Thailand, an experience that sharpened his understanding of narrative, character, and the power of storytelling to shape lives.
His debut novel, The Final Witness, is a Christian dystopian thriller that blends mystery, spiritual warfare, and biblical prophecy. Through a gripping narrative of persecution and courage, the novel examines the challenges believers face as society moves further from God, ultimately pointing to the hope found in Christ and the events leading up to the rapture. Written with both urgency and compassion, Thomas’s work speaks to readers seeking clarity and encouragement in uncertain times.
Thomas lives in Market Harborough, England, with his wife, their three children, and his loyal writing companion, Charlie the cat. When he is not writing or preparing sermons, he enjoys reading widely, playing chess, and taking long walks through the English countryside.
