This story is intense. It is well written and evokes the feelings of the characters. I couldn’t put it down. It definitely makes you see a dystopian future but not without a glimmer of hope. It’s refreshingly free from profanity. I highly recommend it.
This book, The Final Witness, captivated me from the very beginning. As a fan of both dystopian fiction and Christian themes, this book had a really powerful balance between suspenseful storytelling and deep spiritual insight. The world-building was incredibly immersive and chillingly believable, yet full of hope and conviction.
“The Final Witness” is an excellent read with a captivating story and compelling characters. Its world-building is highly imaginative and wonderfully respectful of Holy Scripture. Yet it is also detailed and grounded enough to feel immensely realistic – and close enough to the times in which we live to feel like a warning never to take the religious freedoms we still have for granted. The Christian message is strong throughout, as the central character faces trials and choices that Christians of all ages today are challenged with. A strong recommendation from me!
